Ah, indeed. Who doesn't like fried rice? Okay, maybe my six year old won't like it because of the veggies, but I'm pretty sure it's the only one out there. 🙂 For my birthday dinner with my family, I chose our favorite little Chinese restaurant. And it was the bomb. But the fried rice was excellent. But I kept thinking, I can do this so well at home and I've been looking forward to it ever since!

Cooking Fried Rice:

  2. Add Oil and Vegetables:poursesame oilin the back. Add the white onion, peas and carrots and sauté until soft.
  3. Fill in the egg mixture:Push the onion, peas and carrots to one side and pour the beaten eggs on the other side. using aSpatula, stir the eggs. After boiling, mix the eggs with the vegetable mixture.
  4. Mix the remaining ingredients:Add the rice and chicken to the vegetable and egg mixture. Pour the soy sauce over it. Stir and sauté the rice and vegetable mixture until warmed through and combined. Add chopped chives if desired.
